The Perfect Classic Blondie is just that! This blonde brownie is a moist, rich, buterscotchey bar that won’t last long around the house.
This is my favorite, go to, perfect, classic, Blondie recipe. You know, a chewy, soft, super yummy, butterscotchy bar cookie. If you don’t have your own classic blondie recipe, you’ve gotta try this one. If you have one already, I still think you should try this one! It comes out perfect every time I bake up a batch. It’s simple to put together and everyone is, honestly, head over heals in love with these babies. It also makes a nice size 9 X 13 batch so you can feed a crowd and, most importantly, still have a few for yourself!!!
Perfect Classic Blondies Ingredients
- Brown Sugar
- Butter
- Eggs
- Flour
- Baking Powder
- Salt
- Vanilla Extract
- Pecans or Walnuts
How to Store and Make Ahead
- How Long Can You Keep This In The Fridge? According to food handling guidelines, this recipe will hold at room temperature for 3-4 days and in the freezer for up to 6 months. Storing them in the fridge can extend their life to over a week.
- Can You Freeze This? Freezing this is a great way to extend the shelf life of these decadent treats. Allow them to cool completely and cut into squares. I suggest using wax paper to separate multiple layers.
- Make-Ahead Tips: These chocolate chip cookie brownies store well for several days at room temperature, so you can make them ahead of time and serve when you’re ready! Of course, freezing is also a great option.
