Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies
Banana chocolate chip cookies chewy, moist texture and flavor combo will have you rethinking your classic chocolate chip cookie recipe!
Servings 48 cookies
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2/3 cup butter at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup mashed over-ripe bananas
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment.
In a small mixing bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside
In a medium mixing bowl, using a handheld mixer, cream together on medium speed sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs and vanilla. Fold in the mashed bananas. Stir in the flour just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
Using a small cookies scoop, drop dough onto prepared baking sheets.
Bake in preheated oven for about 12 minutes, or until cookies no longer look raw int the center.
