Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 250°F.
Place the eggs in the fryer basket.
Cook for approximately 13 minutes for soft-boiled eggs and 15-17 minutes for hard-boiled eggs. If you like a softer consistency, reduce the time to get soft-boiled eggs.
Remove the eggs from the air fryer basket with tongs or oven mitts, and plunge them into an ice bath. When cool enough to handle, peel eggs and enjoy!
Notes
Water – No need for boiling water!
Cook Times – Keep in mind that every air fryer cooks differently, and some models might take longer or less time to cook. In this recipe, I used a 5.8 Quart 1700 Watt air fryer, and the time on this recipe is calculated to cook 4 cold eggs (taken from the fridge). If you want to cook more or fewer pieces, you’ll have to adjust the time.
Also, the eggs’ temperature plays a part in the cooking time. Eggs at room temperature will cook faster than eggs that are taken directly from the fridge. I encourage you to test your air fryer with 1 or 2 eggs first to check the egg consistency results, and then you can adjust the time according to your preference.
Remove – Use tongs or oven mitts to avoid burns when removing from the air frying basket.
Wire Rack – If you have an air fryer rack you can use it.
