6tablespoons, (plus extra for greasing pan)butter, dividedmelted
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch baking dish with butter (6 tablespoons).
In a large bowl, gently toss the apples (3), brown sugar (1 cup), cinnamon (1/2 teaspoon), and nutmeg (1/4 teaspoon) until evenly combined. Add the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
In a medium bowl, mix the Bisquick (1 ¼ cups), granulated sugar (1 tablespoon), milk (2/3 cup), and melted butter until combined. The dough will be soft.
Evenly drop spoonfuls of the dough over the apples. Bake for 45 minutes or until the topping turns golden brown and the filling begins to bubble.
