Spaghetti Tacos

These spaghetti tacos are an easy, super fun dinner, your family will love. It is made with homemade spaghetti, loads of ground beef, taco, and lotsa cheese.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti, broken in half before cooking
  • vegetable oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 (1-ounce) envelope taco seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 (24-ounce) jar or 1 1/3 cup prepared spaghetti sauce
  • 2 1/2 cups pepper jack cheese
  • 12 hard taco shells

Garnish

  • chopped tomato
  • chopped red onion
  • chopped cilantro

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions and drain.
  • Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C).
  • Drizzle a little oil in a 12-inch skillet. Cook ground beef (1 pound) and onion (1/2 cup) over medium heat until there is no longer any pink in the beef. Drain off any excess fat.

  • Add taco seasoning (1 envelope), Italian seasoning (2 teaspoons), Parmesan (1/2 cup), spaghetti sauce (1/2 jar), and water (1/2 cup). Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1-2 minutes, or until sauce thickens.

  • Remove pan from heat and stir in 1 1/2 cup pepper jack and cooked spaghetti (8 ounces).
