Servings 60 cookies
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375° degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
In a large mixing bowl cream together butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla until well combined. Add eggs and beat for 2 minutes, or until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Gradually add in flour mixture and mix just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
Using a small cookie scoop, scoop out balls of dough and place on prepared baking sheets. Bake in preheated oven, just until centers of cookies no longer look wet, about 8 minutes. Cool on baking sheets 5 minutes then remove and cool completely on wire baking racks.
