Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Yellow Onion Chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 3 Garlic Clove Minced
  • 2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 15 Ounce Cans Black Beans, Drained and Rinsed
  • 1/2 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 Cup Ketchup
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Ancho Chile Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Dry Mustard
  • 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • To Taste Salt
  • To Taste Pepper

Instructions

  • In a large saute pan cook onion in oil over medium heat until soft.  Add garlic and continue to cook about 1 minute.
  • Add vinegar to pan, increase the heat and bring to a boil.  Add remaining ingredients and simmer for about 15 minutes.
