Recipe Notes for The Best Baked Beans
Sliced Bacon on Top: This is a variation that is commonly practiced, and it definitely has eye appeal. However, easy baked beans with bacon is difficult for guests to dip in for a serving because they either get no bacon, or a whole slice. If you want to put uncooked bacon on top, it’s better to cut each slice into 3 or 4 pieces first.
Dr. Pepper Infused: Why should Coca Cola have all the fun? After all, Dr. Pepper has its own unique flavor to contribute.
Play Around with the BBQ Sauce: There are so many different kinds of BBQ sauce out there. There are spicy ones, extra sweet ones, mustardy ones. Have a little fun and see what you can come up with!
