Place chicken (2) in a single layer in the crockpot.
Pour the bottle of Buffalo Wild Wings Garlic Parmesan sauce (1) over the chicken.
Pour milk (1 cup) over the sauce.
Sprinkle Parmesan (1 cup) over the top.
Lay a block of cream cheese (8 ounces) over the top.
Cover the crockpot and cook oh HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 5-6 hours.
During the last 30 minutes the chicken cooks, cook pasta (8 ounces) according to package instructions and drain.
When the chicken is tender, remove it from the crockpot. Shred the chicken with 2 forks and vigorously whisk the sauce to incorporate the cream cheese.
Add the shredded chicken, drained pasta, and 1/4 cup heavy cream to the sauce in the crockpot. Gently stir to coat the pasta. Sprinkle with parsley (2 tablespoons) and serve.
Notes
Watch the chicken closely. Chicken breasts can dry out in the slow cooker, so start checking them at the earliest cooking time and remove them as soon as they’re tender and cooked through.
Don’t skip shaking the sauce bottle. Add the milk to the empty BWW sauce bottle and give it a good shake to get every last bit of Parmesan garlic sauce into the crockpot.
Whisk the sauce until smooth. Once you remove the cooked chicken, whisk the softened cream cheese into the sauce until completely incorporated before returning the shredded chicken.
Keep the pasta al dente. It will continue to soften once it’s stirred into the hot sauce, so avoid overcooking it on the stove.
Grate your own Parmesan. Freshly grated Parmesan melts more smoothly and gives the sauce better flavor and texture than pre-shredded cheese.
Adjust the consistency if needed. The sauce thickens as it sits. Stir in a splash of warm milk or reserved pasta water if you’d like to loosen it.
