Godiva Peppermint Thumbprint Cookies
Appeal to the entire age spectrum with the indulgent and satisfying blend of chocolate and peppermint in Godiva Peppermint Thumbprint Cookies!

- 1 1/2 Cup All-Purpose Flour
- 2/3 Cup Cocoa Powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter Softened
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar Firmly Packed
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 Teaspoon Peppermint Extract
- 24 Peppermint Kisses Unwrapped
- 1 Cup Godiva Milk Chocolate Chips Melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, salt, baking powder, and baking soda until combined; set aside
Cream together butter and both sugars, in the bowl of a stand up mixer, until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and blend just until the yellow disappears. Stir in peppermint extract. Gradually mix in flour mixture, in 1/2 cup increments, until just combined.
Using a small cookie scoop, scoop dough into your hands and roll into a ball.
Place on cookie sheets and bake 8-10 minutes. Allow cookies to cool on cookie sheet about 5 minutes. Press a Herseys Kiss into the center of the cookie.
Drizzle melted Godiva chocolate over the cookies with a fork. Allow chocolate to harden completely before serving.
