Ingredients

  • 16 ounces raw honey
  • dash cinnamon, optional

Instructions

  • Pour honey (16 ounces) into the bowl of a stand-up mixer, set-up with a whisk attachment.
  • Add cinnamon, if you're using.
  • Whip the honey on medium speed, until the honey reaches a fluffy, frothy whipped consistency, about 20-25 minutes.

Notes

  1. Stand-Up Mixer: I whipped the honey for 20 minutes in a stand-up mixer and the result is a golden light frothy bowl of goodness. I suggest using a stand-up mixer instead of a hand-held mixer or my hand. Whipping by hand for 20 minutes will seem like a lifetime!
  2. Keep It Plain: Some recipe suggests optional cinnamon. I choose not to use it. I like a pure taste and I promise you, you'll love the taste and texture of this spread. It's a very familiar homey taste with a completely new twist on the texture!
