- 1 large yellow onion thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth Seasoning Blend
- 1 1/4 teaspoon table salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- Pat the pork steaks dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, combine the salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and brown sugar.

- Spread the sliced onions across the bottom of the baking dish. Scatter the garlic over the onions.
- Arrange the pork steaks on top of the onions.
- Pour the chicken broth around the sides of the pan, being careful not to wash the seasoning off the pork.
- Cover tightly with heavy-duty foil.
- Bake for 2 hours.
- Remove the foil and continue baking for 20-30 minutes, or until the pork is fork-tender and reaches an internal temperature of at least 195°F in the thickest portion.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
- Spoon the onions and pan juices over the pork before serving.
