Antipasto Squares
Ingredients
- 2 (10-ounce) cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 1/4 pound thinly sliced ham
- 1/4 pound thinly sliced Genoa salami
- 1/4 pound thinly sliced provolone cheese
- 1/4 pound thinly sliced Swiss cheese
- 1/4 pound thinly sliced pepperoni
- 1 (12-ounce) jar roasted red peppers drained, cut into thin strips
- 1/4 (about 1/3 cups) shaved red onion
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 3 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF (177ºC). Spray a 9X13 with nonstick cooking spray.
- Pop open one tube of crescent rolls and unroll the dough. Lay it in the bottom of the prepared pan. Stretch it out to fit, pinching together the dough where it's perforated.
- Arrange a layer of ham (1/4 pound), provolone (1/4 pound), Swiss cheese (1/4 pound), salami (1/4 pound), pepperoni (1/4 pound), red peppers (12-ounce), and shaved red onion (about 1/3 cups). Sprinkle Italian seasoning (1 teaspoon) evenly over the layered meats and cheese.
- In a small mixing bowl, beat eggs (3) until light and fluffy. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese (3 tablespoons), and black pepper (1/2 teaspoon). Pour 3/4 of the egg mixture over the layered meats and cheeses.
- Pop open the remaining tube of crescent rolls and unroll the dough. Lay over the meats and cheeses, pinching perforations to seal. Evenly brush the remaining egg mixture over the top of the crescent roll top. Cover the pan with aluminum foil.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake until dough is fluffy and golden brown, another 10 to 20 minutes. Cut into squares; serve warm, or at room temperature.
