Eat Your Greens! Air Fryer Green Beans that is. These beans end up deliciously crisp and green—I repeat—these are not sad, soggy beans from a can. If I make these—I know that my family will eat them—and like them! I can’t say that about all vegetables—but these beans are a new family favorite.
Walking on Air! These green beans are a great example of what an air fryer can do. I can get perfectly crisp and tender green beans—using less oil than I would with more traditional cooking methods. These are not your grandmother’s green beans.

Once the beans are cooked to your liking, open the basket, and sprinkle wedges with 2-3 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese, (do not turn the heat back on the air fryer oven, there will be enough carry-over heat to melt the parm) close the basket for 30-60 seconds to melt the cheese. Transfer to a serving plate, sprinkle with fresh chives or parsley, and serve plain or with your favorite dipping sauce.
