They’ll learn that baking is easy and fun, and ends with an incredibly delicious treat!

They may even want to open up a stand, offering neighbors some mini apple pies for sale!

While we’ve got the deliciousness of apples on the brain, have you tried my Apple Dump Cake? This is a rich, buttery cake covered with a yummy crumb topping. Dump cakes are known for their effortless prep, and this recipe is no different. Dump, bake, done!

Another great combination of apples and cake is my Apple Coffee Cake. I love this cake for breakfast, but it hits the spot anytime!

I couldn’t talk apples without mentioning my Apple Bars with a caramel glaze. These pieces of apple heaven are just sweet enough, with the perfect touch of cinnamon.

You can really play around with this Mini Apple Pies recipe by choosing different doughs. Making mini apple pies with puff pastry might sound intimidating, but it’s actually easy to do, thanks to the modern luxury of pre-made frozen puff pastry.

If you want a more crumbly crust, try your hand at mini apple pies with shortcrust pastry, and another variation is mini apple pies crescent rolls. You can also create mini dutch apple pies by adding a crumbly topping. All of these pastry doughs work just fine, depending on what you might have around.
