✨ Before You Begin
✨ Use unsweetened drink mix. This is key—sweetened packets will throw off the balance and make the pie overly sweet.
✨ Fold gently. This keeps the filling light, fluffy, and mousse-like.
✨ Choose your flavor. Cherry, strawberry, lemon, and blue raspberry are all great options—pick your favorite!
✨ Plan for chill time. The pie needs at least 4 hours to fully set and slice cleanly.

🥣 How to Make Kool Aid Pie
Here’s a quick look at how to make this easy Kool-Aid Pie (full instructions in the recipe card below).
Start by whisking the drink mix with the sweetened condensed milk until smooth and thick. Then gently fold in the whipped topping until light and fluffy.
Spread the filling into the crust, smooth the top, and refrigerate until fully set. That’s it—easy, fast, and ready to chill.
⭐ Pro Tips
⭐ Use a large bowl
A bigger bowl makes it much easier to fold everything together without deflating the mixture.
⭐ Don’t overmix
Fold just until combined to keep the filling light and airy.
⭐ Chill until firm
Let the pie chill long enough so it slices cleanly and holds its shape.

Notes
- Any Kool-Aid Flavor will work: Any flavor of Kool-Aid will work! For these photos I used cherry kool aid. Our favorites are strawberry, lemon, black cherry, grape, orange, watermelon, pink lemonade, blue raspberry. Try a different flavor every week! How many kool aid pies will you make this summer.
- Chill Time: Remember this pie needs to chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours
- Kids: Kids absolutely love the crazy, bright color and fruity taste. The no bake pie is so simple to make, they can make it all by themselves.
- Mixing Bowl: Use a large mixing bowl. It will make it easier to fold in the cool whip. Use a large rubber spatula to gently fold it in.

Thank you so much, Janice! 🙂
I wanted to make this pie! I had brought back Kool-aid from Mexico. Seems like their packs are about double ours! So I went and bought a Canadian pack..yup..much smaller. So I just doubled everything! Canadian Sweetened condensed milk is only about 10 ounces to US 14 ounces. Two. Cans of sweetened condensed milk. My 15g pack of I think Lime Kool-aid and a full 1 L of Cool whip. Apparently the small sizes are hard to find these days as well. I cheaped out on the Graham wafer crusts..they don’t seem to be as good as the Keebler ones. But I was testing..so don’t judge!
Anyway..the mix turned a beautiful lime green. It’s a bit thick..but to me tastes fine. Not overly sweet. I’m taking them to work tomorrow. I got 2 pies from one Mexican Kool-aid pack. I did buy some Canadian ones and can’t wait to try them! Thanks for this recipe! It’s a keeper for sure!
Hey Vickie! Thanks for sharing with us the different international sizes of Kool Aid!!! I spent a great deal of time for work in Mexico. It’s funny how many everyday products come in different sizes! so glad yo liked this pie! It’s a huge favorite here for my fam!🥰
