Get ready to fall in love with the easiest pumpkin dessert you’ll ever make! 🎃 Let’s make this!!
BEFORE YOU START
⇒Soften the cream cheese: Make sure it’s fully at room temperature so it blends smoothly without lumps.
⇒Use pure pumpkin puree: Don’t substitute pumpkin pie filling—it’s already sweetened and spiced.
⇒Chill the whipped topping: Thaw it in the fridge, not on the counter, for the best fluffy texture.
⇒Mix carefully: Beat the cream cheese mixture until smooth before adding pumpkin, then fold in the whipped topping gently to keep it airy.
⇒Plan ahead: For the best flavor, let the Pumpkin Fluff chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour before serving.
PUMPKIN FLUFF INGREDIENTS
- Cream Cheese: Having this at room temperature is important; otherwise, the fluff will have little white lumps.
- Sugar: White granulated for sweetness.
- Milk: This ingredient acts as the necessary liquid to loosen the fluff.
- Instant Vanilla Pudding: A key ingredient that adds stabilization and flavor.
- Pumpkin Puree: This is the base of the lovely pumpkin flavor. I used canned puree.
- Pumpkin Pie Spice: I nice shortcut to get that classic pumpkin pie flavor.
- Frozen Whipped Topping: Make sure it is fully thawed.
STORING + FREEZING + MAKE-AHEAD
- How Long Can You Keep This in The Fridge? Once assembled, your pumpkin spice fluff will last up to four days in the refrigerator.
- Can You Freeze This? I do not recommend freezing.
- Make-Ahead: You can prepare the pumpkin pie fluff dip ahead of time. It will keep nicely. Just chill until ready to serve.
- Food Safety: If you’d like more info on food safety check out this link.
